Our team members are carefully chosen, not only for their skills and abilities, but also for their love and desire to help pets and their people. Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital's doctors and team members look forward to seeing you and your pet family member.

We are AAHA Accredited!   Ahwatukee Animal Care hospital is AAHA certified.

Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital's clients can take pride in knowing that they are taking their pet to an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited hospital.  Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are accredited.   We are the only AAHA certified hospital in Ahwatukee.  In fact, only about 3,500 (10 -15 %) of the animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited.

What does accreditation mean?  It means our hospital holds itself to a higher standard, and that your pet is receiving care at a hospital that has passed an evaluation of over 900 rigorous standards of excellence in veterinary care covering nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, pet health records, cleanliness, emergency services, medical, dental, and nursing care, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology.

AAHA's regular evaluations ensure that our hospital meets or exceeds the association's standards for facilities, equipment, and quality procedures.   The AAHA standards are recognized around the world as a benchmark for quality veterinary care. Accreditation helps our hospital stay on the leading edge of veterinary medicine and ensures we provide the quality and range of services your pet deserves.

Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital is dedicated to providing the best care possible for your pet. For this reason we challenge ourselves to pass the rigorous AAHA standards evaluations in order to ensure that we are meeting our mission, vision, and values.

You can visit American Animal Hospital Association  for information regarding AAHA and what it means for your pet.
