Dermatology
Skin problems are among the primary reasons to bring a pet into the veterinarian. No matter breed-type or size, any dog or cat can be susceptible to the risk of dermatologic problems. A general veterinarian can identify and treat a variety of common skin conditions.

Growth Removals
The nature of a growth determines how it is treated. Benign growths, such as fatty tumors and skin tags, are often removed for cosmetic reasons, or if they bother the pet. Other growths are removed and tested to better understand their composition and any implications they might have for your pet's overall health. Because there is a great deal of variability in growths, an accurate surgical estimate must be provided on an individual basis by the doctor. The level of anesthesia, laboratory tests, and post-operative medication are all variables the doctor will consider.
Certain diseases and injuries may require a veterinary dermatologist. If necessary, we will refer your pet to a specialist. Our goal is to ensure your pet receives the optimal level of care.
