Educational Tours and Speaking Engagements
Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital offers educational tours and sessions for children of all ages and their families, scouts, as well as school and neighborhood groups. Our educational tours consist of an educational session customized for the particular tour group, distribution of age-appropriate educational materials, discussion, and either a demonstration or video. Safety around animals is stressed.
Topics from which to choose include: preventive care for pet dogs and cats; birds as pets; dental care for pets; caring for a new puppy; caring for a new kitten; senior pet care; acupuncture; exotic pets; pet safety; pet first aid and CPR; and becoming a veterinarian.
Following the educational session, children will have a tour of our facility including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, treatment area, x-ray, the pet resort and doggie daycare.
To arrange an educational tour, please call and speak with our friendly staff (480) 893-0533.
